VERENIKIS

Perched on a small plot along the slope of Tourkovounia overlooking Athens, the Rise Up House is conceived as a refined architectural response to space, light, and its commanding views. The composition unfolds vertically, each level calibrated to its relationship with the landscape and the narrow road below: the ground floor withdraws to the furthest possible point from the road, ensuring privacy and seclusion; above it, the bedroom level gains elevation and projects subtly outward, expanding both outlook and spatial depth; and at the summit, the living and social areas extend decisively toward the horizon, embracing light and panoramic vistas in a confident upward progression. Discreetly concealed, a generous basement maximizes the potential of the compact site, while the interiors—designed for avid art collectors—are articulated through restrained, minimal spaces that provide a serene backdrop, allowing their collection to take precedence.
